Michael Arce, M.D
Michael Arce, M.D., Medical Director, Functional Medicine Practitioner and Co-Founder of
GenRev, attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed Residency and Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. With deep conviction and heart for wholeness, Dr. Michael pursued Fellowship training in Functional Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-aging. Unique in understanding the full spectrum of healthcare, while equipped in treating the most complicated disease states, he has the skill and passion for preventative medicine and setting people free from disease and chronic ailments. Coupling evidence-based medicine with the science and art of healing through a Christ-centered lens, has led to countless testimonies of healing and profound work in transforming lives. Optimal health of the whole person that they will walk in the freedom and fullness of life is a passionate pursuit Dr. Michael is committed to. As a gifted educator, driven by love and excellence, Dr. Michael empowers patients in their process to overcome and thrive. The realities of a functionally healthy lifestyle is an area he has personally thrived in and has coached people in for over 20 years through his work as a functional trainer in exercise physiology and kinesiology prior to Medical School. As an athlete himself, Sports and Injury rehabilitation is another key area of strength he shares with patients. As a husband and father, he adores and serves his family with faithfulness and deep love. Dr. Michael pioneers breakthrough approaches believing with God, all things are possible!
Nicole Arce, B.Sc., FNC
Nicole is the Co-Founder and President of Gen-Rev Healing Collective, and serves as a Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach. As an Allied Health Professional and Business Owner, she works closely with Dr. Michael and the Healing Collective to bring restoration and reformation through healthcare. Through her extensive background in both the business and practice of healthcare, she is driven to actualize the paradigm shift in bringing sustainable healing and wholeness to people, families and communities. Nicole is passionate about building the
healing collective, which is comprised of co-laborers with diverse backgrounds, skills and gifts who function in unity carrying shared vision in the pursuit of God’s heart for the restoration of all things. Compelled by original design and the promises of God, Nicole believes it requires intentional teamwork to diligently seek answers for the deepest needs. With tender love, Nicole enjoys partnering with patients to renew lifestyles of thriving health for the spirit, mind and body. Her education at the University of San Diego in Biology and Chemistry and years of work experience in pharmaceuticals, gave her profound insight into the depths of healthcare models, systems and standards of care. This fueled her passion to pursue further education and work experience in
preventative and functional medicine and to build Gen-Rev with her husband, Dr. Michael on the firm foundation of the Word and Presence of God. Working closely with physicians and practitioners from all backgrounds over many years provided unique skills and experience that contribute to her work for patient advocacy and root cause resolution through new approaches to optimize health. Passionately devoted to her husband and three treasured boys, co-creating the
Gen-Rev mission with family to set people free and transform lives is a race she enjoys running.
Jessica Huggins
Jessica Huggins, Clinic Manager, graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a double major in Physiology & Neuroscience (BS) and Cognitive Science (BA). She is bilingual (English and Spanish) and has over 8 years of administrative and customer service experience across a variety of fields, and 2.5 years of neurofeedback brain therapy experience. She looks forward to helping Gen-Rev continue to grow, and looks forward to expanding their neuroscience offerings in the future to provide another element of care for patients
Josh Wehn
I am privileged to be part of team Gen-Rev, a group of elite professionals dedicated to a personalized approach towards healing their patients. I am very grateful to have grown up in San Diego, CA where I gained a passion for surfing, athletics, and staying healthy outdoors! I was able to receive my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science/Health and Wellness while playing NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse at Bellarmine University located in Louisville , Kentucky. Gaining clinical experience in cardiac rehab and family medicine as a medical assistant, I joined Gen-Rev Healing Collective as Clinic Manager. I have learned and cherish this new approach to medicine that Dr. Michael and Nicole instill in their practice. Gaining further knowledge and experience directly under Dr. Michael has allowed me to achieve my career goal of becoming a healthcare provider as a Physician Assistant. I am beyond blessed to be on this journey and to be a part of GenRev Healing Collective!
Pastor Mickey Stonier PhD
Pastor Mickey Stonier, PhD is a professor, author, chaplain, and certified trauma specialist who serves families, communities and emergency response agencies in the fields of stress management and emotional-mental-spiritual health. With over forty-five years of ministry and education experience, he teaches and equips individuals and organizations in strategies for optimal performance. His passion is for people to fulfill their ultimate calling and destiny as they experience God’s transformative principles for relationship enhancement.
Karen Stonier
Karen Stonier, Pastoral Care and Intercessory Prayer Leader Karen Stonier grew up in the Pacific Northwest In a large Catholic family. She moved to San Diego in 1975. In 1977 she got involved with the ministry of Horizon Christian Fellowship. She met and married Mickey Stonier, now Pastor at the Rock Church. They have been married for 40 years. Karen served in a number of ministries including Horizon Christian Schools, women's ministry, children's ministry, youth ministry, marriage ministry, Horizon International, and various other church outreach opportunities. Karen currently serves at the Rock Church and is a mentor and counselor to women. She also serves on the Rock Church Pastoral Support Team and the On-line Prayer Ministry that supports hundreds of prayer requests and Pastoral Care. Karen and Mickey have co-authored a book, Get Out Of Control: Finding Freedom In Letting Go. They live in San Diego and have four children and four grandchildren.
Julie McNamara
Registered Nurse, received her Bachelors of Nursing from Clemson University in 1994. She began her nursing aesthetics career in 2003. Her simple and sincere approach to skincare grew into a word of mouth, boutique business. She has incorporated the use of nutraceuticals for optimal aging and is eager to utilize IV therapies as a way to combat the natural aging process. Her beauty from within approach combined with lasers and skincare represent one aspect of the wellness collaboration set forth by Dr. Michael and the Healing Collective. Tamera Jones, Licensed Aesthetician and Owner of 328 Skin and Body, has been an Aesthetician for over 20 years. Her passion for skincare, healing and people is a gift from God. She continues her education yearly and remains at the cutting edge in aesthetics. Treatments are uniquely created for each client, in which her vast services include facials, peels, microdermabrasion, oxygen, high frequency, galvanic, Celluma light therapy, Cold/Hot therapy, lymphatic facial drainage massage, Peptide therapy and waxing just to name a few.
Rick & Maria Sainz
Rick and Maria Sainz, ordained Pastors and Ministers of Healing, serve as wise counsel over the Healing Collective as a business and ministry. They also serve our patients as ministry leaders for one-on-one services of inner healing and teaching patients how to walk that out. Rick Sainz was saved at a Billy Graham crusade when he was ten. He served as an acolyte in the Lutheran Church for four years. After high school graduation, Rick explored the world until God called him back to service in 1982. Over the years, he became a strong and devoted servant in the church in the area of worship and mentoring.
Maria's passion is to see people healed and walking in their true identity. She loves to ignite people into their God given destiny, through teaching and moving in the miraculous. Her heart is to see others come into fullness of what God created them for. She is the author of one book called, “Miracles Still Happen”, a testimony about her five-month process of being healed of breast cancer in 2015. She and her husband Rick are co-founders of Red Seal Ministries and reside in San Diego, CA with their English crème golden retriever, Gracie.
